The main control BCU is the battery cluster management layer, which manages multiple packs of batteries in series. It mainly collects various single battery information uploaded from the control BMU and collects battery pack information. It calculates and analyzes the SOC and SOH of the battery pack, collects total voltage, total current and insulation monitoring, controls high-voltage relays, and has RS485 and CAN interfaces for communication and interaction with external PCS equipment.
It uses 32-bit high-speed ARM, supports 1500V high voltage, manages up to 27 packs of air-cooled 16S battery packs, 8 clusters of batteries, with high-voltage insulation detection and adhesion detection, accurate SOX estimation, intelligent balancing and thermal management, 3 independent CAN interfaces, multi-level software protection and alarm functions, supports cloud platform and OTA firmware upgrades, and meets the new national standard GBT34131-2023 for energy storage BMS.
