On January 21, the "Advanced Thermal Management Materials" innovation consortium team, jointly established by the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "SIAT") and Shenzhen Smart Dynamic Lithium Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Smart Dynamic Lithium"), officially signed and inaugurated.

Attending the inauguration ceremony and symposium were carbon materials scientist, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, researcher at SIAT, doctoral supervisor, and director of the Institute of Carbon Neutrality Technology, Cheng Huiming; Bi Yalei, Director of the Department of Enterprise Cooperation and Innovation Development at SIAT; Tang Yongbing, Deputy Director and Researcher at the Institute of Carbon Neutrality; Huang Xiaohua, Deputy Director of the Department of Enterprise Cooperation and Innovation Development; Jiang Chunlei, Assistant Director and Senior Engineer at the Institute of Carbon Neutrality; Liao Xiuling, Project Manager at the Department of Enterprise Cooperation and Innovation Development; and Dr. Liu Bei. From Shenzhen Smart Dynamic Lithium Electronics Co., Ltd., Chairman Niu Wenbin, Dean Li Yahong, Vice President Newton, Board Secretary Cheng Yan, Chief R&D Engineer Yu Lei, and Sales Director Yao Tao were also present.

It is reported that Smart Dynamic Lithium and SIAT will engage in deep collaboration based on the "Advanced Thermal Management Materials" innovation consortium team, leveraging complementary advantages to promote the development of key technologies for high-insulation, high-thermal-conductivity composite materials in China. The partnership aims to cultivate innovative young academic researchers and build a high-level team for technological innovation and new product development.

Tang Yongbing, Deputy Director and Researcher at the Institute of Carbon Neutrality, stated that the advanced energy storage team at the institute has a solid foundation in material synthesis and device development. Relying on the establishment of the "Guangdong Provincial Engineering Research Center for High-Efficiency, Low-Cost Energy Storage Devices," a comprehensive platform for material synthesis, device preparation, and characterization analysis has been built. The joint establishment of the "Advanced Thermal Management Materials" innovation consortium team will undoubtedly combine the strengths of both parties to achieve a powerful synergy, promoting the rapid development of high-insulation, high-thermal-conductivity materials in China.

Niu Wenbin, Chairman of Shenzhen Smart Dynamic Lithium Electronics Co., Ltd., stated that Smart Dynamic Lithium is a comprehensive service provider for lithium battery safety management technologies. The company primarily focuses on the R&D of lithium battery BMS software and hardware products, lithium battery safety fire extinguishing devices, and the application development of specialized chips for lithium battery safety management. Dr. Li Yahong, Dean of the Smart Dynamic Lithium Research Institute, stated that relying on the Advanced Thermal Management Materials Research Institute and the innovation consortium team, Shenzhen Smart Dynamic Lithium will innovate and fill the gap in addressing the heat dissipation issues of lithium battery PACK materials in China.

She explained that with the rapid development of social technologies, such as artificial intelligence AI, large models, supercomputing, and big data centers, the importance of thermal management in power supply products has become increasingly critical. The high-thermal-conductivity composite materials jointly developed by Shenzhen Smart Dynamic Lithium and SIAT will play a significant role in these important application areas, further addressing industry pain points and aligning with the high-quality development of new productive forces in the country.

Shenzhen Smart Dynamic Lithium Electronics Co., Ltd. was established in Bao'an in 2011 and became a listed company on the New Third Board in 2023, with the stock code 874256.
